Journey Started ❤
After been a designer for many years, I start to think what I really want to do for my career. What’s my plan for my next 5 years? What’s my purpose of my life? After asking these questions around, my UX class professor Julian suggested me to take a directing class in ACN.
“Creative directing” , “Leadership” all of these words are so unfamiliar for me. Different from technique classes I took before, I don’t know what I could expect from this class at all.
After the first class, I already notice leadership is a mindset to grow, a journey of self explore, a chance to help others and a creative process of life.
The first leadership book I read recommended by professor Jini: Together is better by Simon Sinek

This is a really beautiful little book with illustration and abstract story telling the meaning of leadership. It reminded me it doesn’t matter how small the dream is, like the kid in the story, they just want to find a better playground, but the influence and meaning are irreplaceable. It is very important and meaningful for the leader himself and other kids.
This is a really good start for me to rethink some of my little dreams. Thank you for the recommendation.
